In 1987, Wickramaratnes was awarded a significant distribution dealership with the Ceylon Tobacco Company and the first Branch of Wickramaratne Distributors was set up at Panadura to handle this venture.
To this day Wickramaratne Distributors enjoy a longstanding, mutually beneficial and productive relationship with the Ceylon Tobacco Company and currently the sole distributor of all brands of cigarettes for the Southern Region of Sri Lanka from Panadura to Kataragama.
